“Die Eier sind rationiert…”
… und es gab auch keine mehr in Kastens Hotel (4 Sterne!) in Düsseldorf. So beschied uns um neun Uhr morgens (Frühstück bis 11) die so ziemlich allein gelassene Fachkraft im Frühstücksraum, als wir ratlos vor den leeren Behältern für gekochte und gerührte Eier standen. Kein optimaler Beginn des Tages.
Das gute Wetter entschädigte uns für alles. Strahlend blauer Himmel und Sonnenschein, wenn auch kombiniert mit einem sehr frischen Wind. Wir nutzten die Gelegenheit ein bißchen am Rheinturm und dem Landtag vorbei in die Altstadt zu spazieren.
Am Nachmittag haben wir dann wie verabredet Claudias Schwester Klara und deren Mann Werner getroffen um anschließend unter der fachkundigen, äußerst interessanten und kurzweiligen Führung von Anke Pfennig eine Tour durch den Medienhafen zu unternehmen.
Danach haben wir noch Klara und Werner Tochter Patrizia und deren Partner Markus, ebenfalls wie verabredet auf der Rheinpromenade getroffen.
Bei den 12 Aposteln, einer gemütlichen Kneipe, gab es ausgezeichnetes Essen und die spannende Übertragung des
